I’m independent, happy in my own company and have a lot of love to give, but I’d really love to find someone special to share life with.
I absolutely love music! I enjoy concerts, live bands, theatre and a good night out, and I’m not averse to a bit of random dancing or silly arm movements when a favourite song comes on, even if I’m walking down the street with my earphones in! I enjoy having a laugh, being a bit daft sometimes and not taking life too seriously, though I can be sensible when I need to be.
I love travelling, weekends away, days out and exploring new places. There’s so much to see in this country, and I’m just as happy jumping in the car for a scenic drive, discovering somewhere new or enjoying a lovely walk along the beach. I enjoy walking, but I’m more of a leisurely stroll and admire the view person than a ten-mile hike up a mountain! I’ve also recently started taking an interest in photography and birdwatching, although I’m very much learning about both, complete beginner status!
I’m equally happy with a quiet evening in, watching a good film, cooking a meal together, or me cooking and you eating it 😁, or just relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. I’m sociable, enjoy spending time with family and friends, and appreciate the simple pleasures in life as much as the bigger adventures.
I think even the ordinary, boring things in life can be better with two. Doing the garden, washing the car, cooking dinner together, popping out somewhere on a whim or just pottering about. It’s not always about grand gestures or exciting plans; sometimes it’s simply about enjoying someone’s company.
I’m thoughtful, caring and affectionate, and when someone matters to me, I make the effort. I’d love to meet someone who feels the same and is equally willing to put time, thought and effort into building a relationship, doing the little things and being considerate of each other. Someone to share laughter, affection, everyday life and new experiences with, where we both feel valued and appreciated.

Honesty is a non negotiable for me, as is being yourself. Nobody can keep up pretending to be someone they’re not, so I’d much rather meet someone who’s genuine, comfortable in their own skin and happy just being who they are.
I’d love to meet someone who’s kind, thoughtful, affectionate, friendly and enjoys a good laugh. A romantic streak would be lovely too! Someone who enjoys spending time together, makes an effort and doesn’t leave all the planning, organising and little gestures to the other person. I think a relationship should be about two people who genuinely want to make each other happy and show it in the little things they do.
A shared love of music would be a big bonus, whether that’s going to concerts, seeing a live band, listening to music in the car or just having a daft dance around the kitchen. I’m quite capable of bursting into random dancing or silliness, so someone who’ll join in, or at least won’t walk away pretending they don’t know me, would be brilliant! 😂
It would be lovely to meet someone who enjoys getting out and about, perhaps a weekend away, a drive somewhere scenic, a wander along the beach or discovering somewhere new together. Equally, someone who’s happy staying in, cooking together, watching a film or doing absolutely nothing in particular.
I’m not expecting someone to share every interest or want to do everything together. I think it’s healthy to have your own interests and independence too. But I would love to find someone who genuinely wants a relationship, enjoys affection and closeness, communicates openly and makes time for the person they’re with.
Ultimately, someone who’s happy to give as much as they receive, who can be serious when it matters but still laugh at the ridiculous things in life, and who thinks the ordinary days can be just as lovely as the special ones.
