I am a friendly, kind person who greatly enjoys reading, travelling, visiting historic sites, museums, galleries. I am particularly interested in ancient cultures such as Greece, Rome, Egypt…. I also love the outdoors particularly Dartmoor and the Yorkshire Dales. I love gardens, growing vegetables, keeping hens and I have two little dogs. I enjoy good food and love going to restaurants and out for a drink. I can cook but would greatly enjoy someone who is a good cook occasionally cooking for me. I am an avid follower of Wimbledon. I think I am quiet but my friends laugh at that. So I suppose I am an outgoing, fun loving person who also enjoys peace and quiet.

A kind and gentle man who would make me feel special by wanting to share my company on visits at home and abroad. Someone who enjoys reading, the Arts, visiting historic sites, museums, galleries. Someone who loves the outdoors, is spontaneous in their appreciation and love of nature and beauty. A sense of humour is important as we grow older and can’t do all the things we used to do such as hare around tennis and squash courts but enjoyment of watching sport is important snd maybe plays golf. It would be great if he were a good cook but enjoyment of good restaurants and going for a drink maybe overlooking a river or lovely views would be very nice.
