I'm the sort of person who loves home but I need to travel (think it's the Viking blood!), to explore 'just because' & to learn more about the world.

I worked hard at my career, am a postgraduate & I'm extremely proud of the graft I put in. The work that I did, as an oncology & palliative care nurse, changed my life & I hope it did for countless patients & families I cared for.
I'm now a small business owner, which I find challenging, fulfilling & rewarding.
Haven't always done things the easy way & that's ok, as I'm a glass half full, enjoyer of life, doing my best to learn life's lessons as I go.
My dog grounds me in a way I give eternal gratitude for.

Love to cook, be cooked for & taken out. Am vegetarian but don't let that freak you out! 😁

I swim several times a week & find yoga tunes me in to a deeper sense of vibe & spirit.
BTW, I've marked myself as not wanting children. I'm super happy if you do & I will be lovely with them. I just can't have children of my own.

Down to Earth, well travelled & you've lived a bit of life (tbf at our age, that should be 'a given' 😂).
I've lived in cities and countryside and, though I love the cultural scene of the city, these days am true to my country roots. So someone comfortable in the countryside, please.
