Hi, been on here for a couple of months now, and giving it one last go
Looking for someone who likes doing things rather than sitting in the house watching tv
Not going to lie, a picture is important. So, if you don’t have a photo (or it’s set to private) then that might be a bit of a barrier for me, sorry, but putting a face to a name doesn’t seem like too big an ask?
Attracted to people who are passionate about their interests and I love listening to someone talk earnestly about their ‘thing’. Too few people are passionate about things, but those that are always seem to me to have some inner fire that makes them deeply attractive
Not deal-breakers but if you like museums, art galleries, theatre, restaurants, concerts, the countryside, walks, skiing, reading, keeping fit, golf, racket sports, running, beautiful beaches, exploring new cities, painting, playing music then I’m sure we will have plenty to do
Must love Christmas… I do, and can happily watch Christmas movies at any time of the year 😄
Especially keen to hear from anyone who likes travelling, a passion I try to instil in my 2 daughters. Next destinations for me are starting to look like a trip round some of the Scandi countries at the start of next year and then possibly (if I can stand the heat) Japan next summer
I’m generally not afraid to try things, so at various times I’ve been involved in the local am-dram club, represented local teams at rugby, football and golf, received rejection letters from record companies and was due to play golf with Rick Wakeman once, but it got rained off. I did appear in ‘Record Collector’ magazine, and I once flew a plane (40th birthday thing)
Delighted to have an EU passport and hope to eventually retire to somewhere a bit warmer and sunnier than Scotland … that’s the thought at the moment, anyway
