I am quite laid back and try not to take life too seriously. I am always open to trying new things - I love a taster session, especially if it involves a free biscuit 🍪… or better still , cake.
I still have a thirst for learning and have a keen interest in improving my knowledge of history - or maybe its just because I find Lucy Worsley strangely attractive...
I am very active; I enjoy golf, long walks in the countryside and a bit of gym ‘torture’ ( but falling asleep in the sauna is my specifically)!
I also love classic cars, older films (noir) and a common interest in film and TV is hopefully a brilliant bonus on this site !
I retired a few years ago, but still do a bit of work now and again to stop me from going completely senile
I am an eternal optimist, which is why I find myself on this site…

Someone active, interested in travel and good food would be nice,
If you still value your independence, but want all the positive things a relationship can bring; then that sounds good to me.
It would also be good to meet someone near to me… when Meatloaf sang “I would do anything for love… but I won’t do that !” I think he was talking about driving round the M25 on a bank holiday 😩
