I am told I am good humoured, with a fun sense of humour coupled with time served ability to be able to laugh at myself in equal measure to/with others.
I enjoy country sports and used to enjoy playing rugby squash and tennis and having a go, generally not that successfully, at most other sports.
I enjoy dining out as well as cooking and would describe myself as an enthusiast rather than a chef; yet to poison anyone!
I enjoy travel when the opportunity arises and used to enjoy weekends and Short breaks away in the UK and cap destinations and would look forward to that again.
I do try to treat everyone with courtesy and respect, but I’m sure that I fail from time to time. I I am told that I have good manners and for this I would have to thank my parents, up bringing an education.

I think I have always had an element of Walter Mitty about me, but think this has kept me very much an optimist.
Looks are looks (only) and so may hopefully work in my favour?
Nature, good humour, a pleasant disposition and demeanour go a long way, added to which trying to treat everyone with a fair dollop of respect and decency also goes a long way.
I guess there is an argument as to the pros and cons of closely shared interest in hobbies/pastimes and/or sports but I am not entirely convinced of this as I think that separate interests and hobbies can and perhaps make sure that time spent together as enjoyable and special as possible.
I am open minded to be convinced either way.
I speak as a failed idealist, but I think a desire to try and please and put your other half first, hopefully added to a mutual view from one’s partner, can go a long way towards a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship.
Whilst large gestures can be great fun, I think a glance across a crowded room or a gentle touch can also speak volumes.
