My friends would describe me as an interesting character, who is kind, open, honest and empathic. My career spanned forty five years public service. I like researching my interests in writing, walking, Irish Music and Ukrainian language. I enjoy playing musical instruments, outdoor activities including swimming and cycling. I have spent a lifetime helping and caring for my family. Now I feel this is the moment to focus upon my own happiness. I travel through life without baggage and look forward in anticipation to whatever each day may offer. To relax, I have just walked and cycled 2,000 miles (it's a long story) from the Scilly Isles to the Shetlands in both directions in 155 days! I'm planning my next sojourn a little closer to home at the moment. My aim is to stay happy, at my stage of life, I feel contentment is health!
