I moved from Barnes, London to Cornwall during lockdown where I am taking steps to paint and write. My only son lives in London where he is completing his Law studies.
Although I spent my early years in southern africa my family background is English. I treasure nature, grew up yachting. I swim, dance, and do yoga when able.
Living on the river when the weather is fine and there is time, I kayak and explore with my small boat. I love walking in beauty but not yet fit enough for serious distance.
I am interested in what inspires and empowers people and the big questions about life. I have gathered some life wisdom, but have no need to convert or impress. I enjoy reading, conversations, serious and fun, classical music, a bit of jazz, folk, something with harmony. With a quiet passion for what I consider important, I strive to live authentically with a light footprint .
